Inverurie Community Campus Celebrates Significant Milestone

7 Sep 2018

A milestone has been reached at the new £55 million Inverurie Community Campus as a steel beam was anchored into place last week.

Mr John Swinney, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Education, attended the site along with council bosses as he signed the important piece of metal work to mark the topping out of the school’s project.

This project is one of the largest school construction projects in Scotland. Once complete, it will be home to Inverurie Academy and St Andrews School, as well as an extensive community sport and leisure facility. This is planned to consist of a six-lane swimming pool, a multi-use games area, two all weather pitches and an amphitheatre.

Halliday Fraser Munro are delighted to be Architects and Design Team Leaders on the project and we are looking forward to seeing the completed building open to pupils in 2020.
