Feasibility Studies

Most projects start with a feasibility study and so we are always keen to undertake these for clients whether they have already acquired the site or are looking to identify a suitable site for development. These can vary from an outline appraisal to an in-depth study. Either way, they have to be accurate, well informed and, more often than not, they must be executed quickly.

The key to doing this well, is having a depth and breadth of experience and a clear understanding of the type of development proposed. Once again, operating as a full service planning and architectural practice puts us at distinct advantage. Our extensive knowledge of the planning landscape across the UK and experience of architectural project delivery across the full range of sectors means we have the expertise to deliver extremely well informed and accurate feasibility studies at speed. This enables our clients to hit the ground running and act swiftly, competitively, and decisively to identify and acquire suitable development assets.

Our wide-ranging delivery experience has given us a deep understanding of commercial drivers across the full range of commercial sectors. This gives us real insight into what is possible on a given site from analysis of topography and local and master planning issues to scoping potential housing density or optimal floorspaces for office or retail developments. It also gives us the ability to accurately estimate the potential costs and returns for a specific site.

While most of our feasibility studies are executed on behalf of developers, we also undertake work for landowners looking to identify the best possible use for a site and maximise the value of assets for sale.
