This week marked the official opening of two of Aberdeen City Council's new outdoor learning settings. Halliday Fraser Munro were delighted to join Councillor M Tauqeer Malik, Convener of the Education Operational Delivery Committee at the ribbon cutting of the Duthie Park site on Thursday 10th March.

These nurseries were designed with a focus on the importance of natural play in outdoor spaces where the children will spend a lot of their time exploring and learning through nature.

Our managing Director, David Halliday said: “We are delighted to see the opening of the Early Learning and Childcare facilities in these two, much-loved, Aberdeen Parks.

“It has been a real privilege to collaborate with Aberdeen City Council who embraced the opportunities offered by learning through open play which Duthie Park and Hazlehead Park are first of its kind in Scotland. We can take real pride in these buildings, knowing that they are giving their children the very best possible start in life’’

It is a huge privilege for Halliday Fraser Munro to be working with Aberdeen City Council and the wider team on these new innovative spaces which will shape the future generations.
